Springco's Elmwood Avenue Facility has two electrocoating systems. Springco's Plant 1 meets most automotive and non-automotive B-coating needs. This line has a coating window of 2' x 2' x 4', which adequately handles most mid-size to small parts. The tank is running a cathodic application. With this technology the part has a negative charge, while the e-coat in the tank has a positive charge.

Springco's plating and phosphate facility features two programmable rack plating lines, as well a rack & barrel phosphate line. Both the monorail and automated hoist line are acid chloride baths. Acid chloride features a "nickel like" finish suitable on cold and hot roll steel as well as cast malleable iron parts. Springco features Trivalent Chromates as well as topcoats over the Trivalent Chromates.
